Enable InboxHealth
Feature Overview
⚠ OPTIONAL FEATURE
Enable InboxHealth is not turned on by default. A developer or admin must manually run this action on an account to activate the InboxHealth integration.
What Is Enable InboxHealth?
InboxHealth is a patient billing and payment platform. The Enable InboxHealth action sets up a full, working connection between an account and InboxHealth in one step. Once run, the account will automatically start sharing the right information with InboxHealth so that patient billing and payments can flow smoothly.
What Gets Set Up?
When this action runs, it automatically configures the account to send the following information to InboxHealth:
- Patients — Patient records are kept in sync with InboxHealth.
- Practices — Practice/location details are shared with InboxHealth.
- Doctors — Provider/physician information is sent to InboxHealth.
- Invoices — Billing charges are sent as invoices to InboxHealth.
- Patient Payments — Payments made directly by patients are reported to InboxHealth.
- Insurance Payments — Payments received from insurance are also sent to InboxHealth.
What Else Happens?
- The InboxHealth feature is enabled on the account so it becomes accessible going forward.
- Standard payment reason codes (Deductible, Coinsurance, Co-payment) are automatically registered with InboxHealth so payments are categorized correctly.
- If any of these pieces are already set up on the account, they are left as-is — this action will not overwrite existing settings.
Getting Access
This action must be run manually by a developer or admin on the target account. It is typically a one-time setup step. If you believe your account should have InboxHealth enabled, contact your admin or support team.
